• Intelligent Access and Security Management: It controls a motorized door with integrated safety features, allowing for automated open/close schedules based on sunrise/sunset or a timer, while also sending alerts if the door is tampered with or left unsecured.

• Remote Health and Behavior Monitoring: Using camera vision and audio analysis, the PCBA enables remote viewing of the flock, detects anomalies in behavior or sounds (indicating distress or illness), and monitors overall flock activity levels.

• Optimized Feeding and Watering: The system can manage automated feeders and waterers on a schedule, monitor feed and water levels, and send low-level alerts to the owner, ensuring consistent access to fresh supplies.

• Predator Deterrence and Coop Security: The PCBA can trigger deterrents, such as lights or sounds, upon detecting motion from potential predators near the coop, and send immediate security alerts to the owner's smartphone.

1. Central Microcontroller Unit (MCU) or System-on-Chip (SoC): The PCBA is built around a robust MCU/SoC that acts as the central brain, processing data from all sensors, executing control logic, and managing connectivity for remote commands and alerts.

2. Multi-Sensor Integration Hub: The board interfaces with a suite of environmental sensors (temperature, humidity, air quality/ammonia), light sensors, motion detectors (PIR), and door status sensors to provide comprehensive situational awareness of the coop's conditions.

3. Motor and Actuator Drivers: It includes dedicated drivers and circuitry to reliably control various motors and actuators, such as those for the automatic door, ventilation fans, and automated feeder mechanisms.

4. Power Management and Versatile Inputs: The PCBA features an Advanced Power Management IC (PMIC) designed to handle multiple power sources, including solar panels, batteries, and mains power, ensuring uninterrupted operation and efficient energy use, crucial for often off-grid coop locations.

5. Robust Connectivity Options (Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN, Cellular): Equipped with Wi-Fi for integration into a home network, and optional LoRaWAN or Cellular (4G/LTE) modules for remote coops located outside of standard Wi-Fi range, guaranteeing constant data transmission and remote access.

6. Camera and Audio Processing Module: Supports a camera interface for live video streaming and image capture, and may include an audio codec and speaker/output for playing deterrent sounds or receiving audio from the coop.
